Andrew Nguyen
Former Food Entrepreneur, EdTech Professional
Andrew is a former food entrepreneur with experience spanning food service, hospitality, startups, and sales. Now working in the EdTech industry, he focuses on connecting students to real-world learning opportunities and shares a practical, non-linear career journey driven by curiosity and transferable skills. 

Rhiannon Wallace, PhD
Research Scientist, Food Microbiomics (AAFC) 
Dr. Rhiannon Wallace is a Research Scientist in Food Microbiomics at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Her work applies molecular and genomic tools to study antimicrobial resistance across the One Health continuum, focusing on rapid pathogen detection and on-farm strategies to reduce AMR transmission.

Tianxi Yang, PhD
Assistant Professor, UBC Faculty of Land & Food Systems
Dr. Tianxi Yang is an Assistant Professor at UBC specializing in food science, analytical chemistry, and nanotechnology. With research experience in academia, industry, and government (FDA), her work develops advanced analytical tools to improve food safety, sustainability, and system resilience.
