Hello,
On Friday MSFHR opened applications for the MSFHR Health Policy Fellowship (http://www.msfhr.org/news/msfhr-news/applications-open-msfhr-health-policy-fellowship), a salary award for post-doctoral level health researchers who want to contribute their research expertise to the health policy development process at the provincial government or health authority level.
Successful applicants will undertake short-term (up to 12 month) policy assignments within the BC Ministry of Health or at one of the province's health authorities. There are currently six assignments available which address BC health system priorities including substance abuse services, promoting indigenous health and primary care home best practice.
All assignment details, eligibility requirements and details on how to apply can be found on our website: http://www.msfhr.org/funding/health-policy-fellowship/2017-b. We will also be running a webinar on how to apply on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, 10:00 - 11:30 am. Please instruct any interested applicants to email healthpolicyfelllow@msfhr.org<mailto:healthpolicyfelllow@msfhr.org%3cmailto:healthpolicyfelllow@msfhr.org> to register. The deadline for applications is April 3, 2017.
This is a fantastic opportunity for post-doctoral level researchers wishing to bridge the gap between the worlds of academic research and health policy, and we would greatly appreciate your help sharing this opportunity.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or require further information.
Kind regards,
Yuliya Shapova
