    Hi all,

    Please pass along to any students you may know of this opportunity.


    The Canadian Federation of Independent Growers is offering five scholarships totaling $28,000 to high school and university students. Scholarships will be awarded in the followed categories: $15,000 for the top essay, plus four regional scholarships of $3,250 each.

    To be eligible for the awards:
    - Applicants must be Canadian residents studying in Canada.
    - Applicants must be enrolled or expected to enroll in a post-secondary program of at least 2 years.
    - All Graduating High School Students
    - College/University students must be enrolled in at least one more year of study as of the current year.
    - Applicants must be working for a current CFIG member (retail, associate, affiliate) or be a family member of an employee of a current CFIG member.
    - Only complete applications containing full and accurate information will be considered.
    - Plagiarism is an infringement of copyright laws. All essays must be properly referenced.

    The IAFP's latest newsletter, Affiliate View, is now out! The newsletter dedicates itself to the professionals working to advance food safety in their geographical region. Each quarterly issue is a valuable source of information that includes a column from the current Affiliate Council Chair, summaries of recent Affiliate meetings, information about upcoming events, and news about IAFP programs and services.

    For those who wish to register their colleagues, see below:
    Registering another contact through online self-service
    A contact can register another contact for an event by:
    1. Logging in then entering the other contact's email address during the registration process.
    2. If the contact doing the registration is already registered for an event, they can click the "New registration" button after clicking the "Register" button from the event details. In either case, the contact doing the registering will be invoiced for the registration fee.
    3. After a contact has registered for an event, an administrator can assign the invoice to a different contact. To change who is invoiced for an event registration, follow these steps:
    A. Find and open the invoice.
    B. Click the Edit button to enter edit mode.
    C. Click the Change link beside the contact's details.
    D. Select the contact you want the invoice to be assigned to.
    E. Click the Save button to save the change. You can then print or email the updated invoice.
    F. Reassigning the invoice will create an entry in your financial history.
